I was born in a poor family, so since I was young I witnessed how my family struggle for our live. I still remembered one time during the Chines New Year, my mum did not have money to distribute red packet (so-called ang pow) to our relatives, so what she did was after we have received the red packet, she took out our money and exchange in other red packet so that she can distribute ang pow to my relatives. I was so upset at that time. T.T
Since then, I started to feel that, money is really important in our life. So I started to figure out how to accumulate money. Aha! This 10 years old little girl has an idea- Savings! I save the pocket money that my mum gave me everyday, I brought some breads or biscuits to school. After she has finished her UPSR exams, I worked as a helper in my primary school. I helped those Librarians and I managed to earn RM4 per day. Sometimes if i was lucky i will get free drinks! XD. RM4 meant a lot to this 12 years old girl. She feel satisfied she can earn money by her own.
When I was in my secondary school, I joined member of some catalogue, 密斯&银河. So I brought the catalogue to school and become an agent, helping my friends to order the product that they want. Aha! This 13 years old little girl can earn the commissions! The more products ordered, the more commission she will get. I never waste my holiday slacking around at home, after i finished my PMR examinations, I went to work as a sales girl in a wholesale shop, i still remembered the shop name called : GSL. It took me 10 minutes from my home to that shop. My salary was RM450 per month. First time when I got my salary, I bought my brother 2 sets of squash uniform. I get myself a Body Glove purse as reward. =)
Besides, I always works as part timer at several hypermarket all the time. After I finished my SPM examinations, I came to Penang to find a higher salary job. My brother brought me to interview for several jobs. Finally i decided to work as a promoter at Eu Yan Sang, as a sales promoter. I gained a lots of survival's skill experience here. I learned how to live independently without anyone helps. I explored this city by my own. I went to work by bus, I asked direction from strangers. Everything was my first time. I can earned RM1200+ per month. Woah I am so happy! I used that money to get my driving license.
I had to return back to my hometown for further studies (diploma in accountancy). During the 3 years time, I as usual I always works as part time promoter in hypermarket nearby my house. The salary that i earned i get myself a Sony Ericsson K770i handphone (wow, bergaya weh! Hahahha~)
Then when i reached 19 years old, my brother has signed up me as an Amway member. I hate direct selling at first, but after i get to know this business better, I felt this is really a good business! I should develop this business since I am still young. So, I started to begin this business. Through centre meeting and sister Grace guidance, I learn how to socialising with people, how to do servicing, how to build business network and so on. I even learn how to cook, how to use facial product, nutrition knowledge and guess what? Wow fantastic baby! This business not only teaches me how to earn money, but at the same time makes me realised how important is having DREAMS! I changed a lot, from a introvert to extrovert person. =)
After i graduated from Diploma, again i came to "cari makan" at Penang! I worked at Thye Sun Hup Kee Sdn Bhd, at Bayan Lepas. This job was actually introduced by my ex's friend. So we both worked together in that company. We both resigned after we were offered to further our studies at USM.
Last year, i did my internship at Wealth Mastery Academy nearby Queensbay area. I was in charged under sales department as a telemarketer. Thanks God, i gained quite a lot of experience as i was given an opportunity to outstation at KL. Besides, I earned around thousand plus commission, hehe, what else? I get myself a new smartphone. Samsung S Advance. Yipeee! =P
Ahaha, finally talking about present. Currently i am in my 2nd year 1st sem semester break, hmm without wasting anytime, I worked as part time promoter during weekend and as home tutor during weekdays. people busy preparing for coming Chinese New Year; some enjoying their holiday, whereas I am busy earn money as I am getting poorer because i had spent too much money due to my ankle's injury.
Money money money $$$, my life has never end with "cari makan". But, I feel glad that i was born in not-so-rich's family background. At least, it makes me appreciate the value of money.
Ok talking about conclusion, the only thing that i practises till TODAY is : "I have to work hard to get what I want. There is no free lunch in this world. "
Wow I wrote so long wei! salute to myself. *thumb up* hahaha~
Ok Fight for what i desire to get next: A Car, Braces, A Guitar =)
